2024 KUSEF Registration is Open

The 2024 KUSEF registration is now open. Please check the schedules and updates for the KUSEF below.   • Research Paper Competition (Type A) is for the students who submit their research papers online to compete for the awards.
  • Poster/PowerPoint Presentation Competition (Type B) is for the studtents who are participating in the fairs for presentation
  • Submission of the Research Paper for publication on our journal is open year-round. You can sign up for an account and start an application, or simply email the research paper with your information to us.

    1. Your project will be available for review by judges throughout the judging period.
    2. All the submissions will go through rigorous triple blind peer review.
    3. When your manuscript is accepted for next review, we may request you additional information.

    General Information

    1. Please upload the materials online: go to the menu bar on top and select “Submission Portal” to upload the project material(s) with the application form.
    2. Please check if you are applying to competition A or B "Click here to download template format for the Research Paper"
    3. Your project will be available for review by judges throughout the judging period.
    4. All the submissions will go through a rigorous triple-blind peer review.
    5. Submission deadline is at 11:59 EST on the day posted.
    6. Multiple Submissions:
      Submission of a project that describes the same work to more than one volume is not allowed. That means you can submit A and B at the same time but not with the same project.
    7. Your paper for submission(s) for A or B will be one (or both) of the following:
      - A work in progress (preliminary or initial stage of research/investigation) paper
      - A full paper
    8. Team  projects must check Team Project box in the application form and list all the coauthors’ information in the Author section of the Abstract including each author’s complete name, school, and email. Corresponding author should be noted.
    9. If you have problems uploading documents online, please send your research project documents(doc or docx file) or images/photos to admin@KSEF.org directly with the application form.
    10. There are no strict formatting requirements for PPT presentation file: the PPT slides will have to contain the essential elements needed to describe your research content.

      What To Expect
    • Arrive, sign in and set up from 8:50 to 9:20 pre-inspection of projects by SRC: 9:00-9:40.
    • Interviews/presentations(15 min -20min./student), followed by lunch, the speaker, and awards.
    • Concluding remarks and clean-up by 2:30.
    • In addition to the above, there is a strong likelihood that people will have FUN.
    • But please note that parents/guardians are not allowed come during the judging process.
    • In special cercumatances, professionals and college students may display their presentation on a large monitor instead of being printed out for this poster session.
    • Further details about file sizes, format, etc. will be emailed out to all individuals who register to present.
