    Air Force Awards Air Force Research Laboratory recognizes projects in the areas of math, science and engineering relevant to aeronautics.

    Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Award The Harvard student chapter sponsors a cash award to an individual project that has done a remarkable job in the field of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

    Biophysics Award The Biophysical Society sponsors an award for the best biophysics-related project.

    Cancer Research Awards The American Association for Cancer Research sponsors awards for projects that are directed at improving our understanding of cancer or the implementation of cancer treatment techniques.

    Chemistry Awards The North Jersey Section of the American Chemical Society sponsors awards for projects which display excellence in the application of chemistry to solve a problem.

    GENIUS Olympiad Award Awarded to 2 project that best address environmental issues. Invitation to present the project as a finalist in the GENIUS Olympiad, an international high school project competition about environmental issues. It is founded and organized by the Terra Science and Education and hosted by at SUNY Oswego, NY.

    In Vitro Biology Awards The Society for In Vitro Biology awards two outstanding projects in the areas of plant or animal in vitro biology or tissue culture.

    ISEF Trip Award Finalists Twelve projects are chosen as finalists for the ISEF trips. These 12 students or teams participate in a final round of judging at their posters. The exhibit hall is open to the public.

    ISEF Trip Awards 2 projects, including up to one team, receive expense-paid trips to attend ISEF, in Phoenix, AZ for 2019. Their advisors will accompany them.

    Journal of Young Explorers Awards The students awarded will have an opportunity to publish their work in the Journal of Young Explorers, a journal managed by Alumni and graduate students in Harvard, MIT etc. The award includes mentoring by graduate students at research universities across the country.
    JYEM Finalist Award an opportunity to publish their work in the JYEM. This subaward is given automatically to the ISEF Trip Finalists.
    Scientific Communication Award an opportunity to publish their work in the JYEM. This subaward is given to projects which exhibit excellence in scientific communication.
    Material Science Awards ASM Materials Education Foundation recognizes two outstanding projects in the field of material science.

    Naval Science Awards The Office of Naval Research awards individual projects in science and engineering that conduct research in areas of interest to the Navy. Recipients must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
